I've never witnessed this.<p>I _have_ worked with many managers who were not technical, and readily said as much, and often had a lot of domain knowledge, and that's what they were on the project for -- in addition to being the resident do-nothings -- which is now my job. :-D<p>Climb the ladder, do less, get paid more -- god i love america.
