There's a whole genre of credulous "turn X into Y" articles that reporters at business rags churn out.<p>Typically, they're "urine powered batteries", turning filthy nitrogenous waste into pure, clean, electricity, but occasionally they turn some kind of fecal material into sausages, or urine into drinking water.<p>This is just modern-day alchemy, and needs to be dismissed with extreme prejudice.
