There are other Illumos distributions too, such as OmniOS and SmartOS. I like them in theory, but I would be hesitant to build a business on top of them, Illumos future seems to be hanging on by a thread (Joyent, the only corporate backer of Illumos AFAIK, recently shut down Joyent Cloud, which was built on top of their SmartOS)
