Say Goodbye to the 1% Investment-Adviser Fee?

Even 1% is hard for new investment advisers to make money on for new / small wealth managers given the regulatory requirements for maintaining compliance with state regulators. And for bigger wealth managers beating the market becomes harder, but their clients are ok with just not losing money sometimes, give they are constantly fighting inflation and massive rapid repricing or tax changes that they can’t quickly escape.

Normally, WSJ is behind an annoying paywall.<p>But at the moment, the whole thing is down!
