One of the most frustrating trends for me is single player games requiring online accounts and Internet connectivity to play (Hitman, Ubisoft games...). AAA games from Steam always seem to come with string attached.<p>That is why I always prefer buying from GoG.

Such a bummer, I really like their stance on DRM and I think they have some great older games. They are the only non-steam game platform that I trust running on my computer.

I think that many games are just too expensive on their platform and the interface is all over the place. There are so many options and covers which completely overwhelm the average user and they end up buying nothing.
