I am a big fan of Peter's Singer list of highly effective charities. For climate change related organisations, please see: https://www.thelifeyoucansave.org/causes-to-support/tackle-c...
I don't think we can buy our way out of global warming. What we need to do is reduce our use of carbon based fuels which means all of us need to look for ways to reduce our energy consumption. A few ideas, drive less(travel less in general), use less AC/heater, find ways to re-use what we have rather than buy new, waste less food and on and on... It all starts with us. If enough people reduce their energy consumption and push for economic and political change then there's a chance to change global warming.
Donating money and hoping someone else will fix the problem will not change things.
Global climate change is a global problem. It can’t be fixed by small individual actions or donating to charities, however well-meaning. Slowing climate change will require international action and huge social changes.
You can not own a car, not fly, not use an air conditioner, don’t eat meat, etc., but as one person out of billions your individual efforts are negligible. You can support politicians who promise to implement large-scale change but that process is slow and corrupt.
