In 2021, Colorado passed a law called the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act that require all businesses to post salary ranges for every job posting. This applies to EVERY remote job that might be taken by a Coloradan. If you are hiring remote workers, are you in compliance? Are you ignoring it until someone complains? Have you never heard of it?<p>Edit: More information: https://cdle.colorado.gov/sites/cdle/files/INFO%20%239_%20Equal%20Pay%20Transparency%20Rules%20%28Revised%20July%202021%29.pdf
I wish this was a national law. For any remote friendly jobs or jobs based in Colorado I’ve noticed my employer, which is a S&P 500, firm does post ranges and is in compliance. I’ve noticed it only includes salary ranges and not TC ranges though.
