What sort of applications are you using your Raspberry Pi or other SBCs, in your home or at work. Desktop for limited use to look things up in the garage/workshop? Media server? How do you set them up? How often do you/have to rebuild them or otherwise spend time maintaining them? How frequently do you upgrade hardware and what causes you to upgrade?
Primary (off-grid) Web, mail, DNS, etc, server: replaced a whole rack of (Sun) server equipment. I have a headless Pi4B as a web server plus UPS controller. I log in via ssh or VNC Viewer (if I think of it). It has a substantial passive heatsink, runs about 40-45 degrees C.<p>"If it works. don't fix it" - I intend it to run happily until it dies, so no hardware upgrades necessary. Been running over 12 months so far.
