Ask HN: How are you using Raspberry Pi or other SBCs?

2 点作者 ghoul2超过 3 年前
What sort of applications are you using your Raspberry Pi or other SBCs, in your home or at work. Desktop for limited use to look things up in the garage/workshop? Media server? How do you set them up? How often do you/have to rebuild them or otherwise spend time maintaining them? How frequently do you upgrade hardware and what causes you to upgrade?

I have a headless Pi4B as a web server plus UPS controller. I log in via ssh or VNC Viewer (if I think of it). It has a substantial passive heatsink, runs about 40-45 degrees C.<p>&quot; If it works. don&#x27;t fix it&quot; - I intend it to run happily until it dies, so no hardware upgrades necessary. Been running over 12 months so far.
