What surprises me is that people are surprised when this happens. Only barely and mostly cynically.<p>Learn from history. If it can be abused, it will. The only way to stop it is to make it impossible to happen in the first place. Usually that means refusing early in the game, as opposed to being &#x27;reasonable&#x27; until the inevitable happens. By then it is too late.
