This is a book, called "Artificial Intelligence for 'Peanut' Brains", downloadable for free.
The motivation behind stems from my own journey on learning and programming artificial neural networks and artificial intelligence and the frustrations along the way. I believe that learning and understanding artificial intelligence, what it is capable of, and how it works, should not be strictly limited to those who are well-versed with calculus, linear algebra, or other relatively complicated math. In fact, I believe that for any complicated subject, there is an intuitive way to learn and develop a fundamental framework for it.
My original intention two years ago was to use interactive contents, interactive games, and animated contents, to illustrate these AI concepts, but the goal has proven to be too audacious. Each piece of such content was moderately time consuming to make but more importantly, they were difficult to redo whenever I wanted to restructure when I think I have a better way to explain certain concepts. In the end, I decided that writing a book with illustrated content was the better way. Even during the writing of this short book, I had to sketch and scratch the written contents and illustrated contents numerous times. To clearly convey a topic as complicated as AI, in a way that is not oversimplified, without using complex math, was not an easy task. I hope I have done a good job in this short book. And this will be just the beginning of such works.
Book is free on Gumroad, on website easylearn.ai which embeds gumroad page (also available on Amazon).
