Video Hosting Services Available for User Generated Content

2 点作者 ayyappa99超过 3 年前
Can you share your experiences with available affordable solutions for video hosting user generated content used on mobiles?
This content is mainly screen recordings of mobile game play.
I have explored few and here are my observations
1. Cloud Flare Stream -> Priced based on minutes streamed and stored irrespective of the bandwidth/video quality.
2. AWS Media services -> This may go costly as CloudFront is costly comparitively
3. Mux -> Pricing nearly equal to Cloud Flare and priced based on streaming time
4. Bunny.net stream -> Charged only for streaming and encoding free - Not sure how much difference it gives
5. Dyntube.com -> Boast unlimited streaming for lowest prices but not sure about the service
The use-case I have is more like there can be limited videos and cost need to be optimised for streaming.
Can someone suggest a good option?

We seem to be working on similar projects (not competing though)
I did the same research, before bunny stream was offered. i had to set up my own encoding to make it viable, the others are just so expensive (it really adds up), so when bunny stream was launched, it was just a no brainer, storage, streaming, cdn and encoding all in one, plus they are such a great team already.
Didnt know about your #5. But looking at it quickly, it looks too good to be true.
there is '5cent cdn' as well, they offer free encoding as well.
good luck with your project!
