Worth keeping in mind where our Carrier Strike Groups & Amphibious Ready Groups are.<p><a href="https://news.usni.org/2022/02/07/usni-news-fleet-and-marine-tracker-feb-7-2022" rel="nofollow">https://news.usni.org/2022/02/07/usni-news-fleet-and-marine-...</a><p>We’ve had 3+ in/around the South China Sea for quite some time now, & only one near Russia/Ukraine.<p>Not to be too tinfoil hatty, but it would appear we have some major concerns in that area while Russia/Ukraine tensions have been building.<p>I personally have a lot of friends on the Essex right now & worry about that being a major target if the US gets heavily involved with Russia & China decides to step in. I see it as essentially the most vulnerable of our aircraft carrying capable ships that are deployed.
