Hi HN!
My wife is looking into getting a job in IT. One of the roles that she thinks can fit her is a Product Owner (PO). She doesn't have any relevant training and her background is in academia (chemistry), so it's a totally new area. I would love to hear your success stories of becoming a PO. What is your background? What kind of training have you done? Where would you recommend to start from?
take a course at product school. then get a job as a 'product analyst' -- effectively a junior product owner/manager.
owner/manager are etchnically two different roles, but most people don't know/care about any perceived differences, but you should know the difference.
