There is no need to reiterate the news, but I was looking for some discussion on Hacker News. Therefore I'm going to ask, what is the atmosphere like, and wish strength to anybody directly affected by war.
Here in Estonia, a country bordering Russia, there just so happens to be independence day, and some people are feeling quite spooked, but of course, there is no war anywhere near here.
@SecEvangelism (Chris Kubecka, the computer security researcher) has been reporting on Twitter[1] about her escape from Kiev to the Romanian border since the early morning hours (EEST).
This is also where I learned about Project Dynamo[2]. It apparently is the organization that assisted her evacuation.
[1] https://twitter.com/secevangelism/status/1496759814575243266...
[2] https://www.projectdynamo.org/
I am not currently living in Poland, but I am going there to my family soon to stay there with them. My family lives near the border so it is frightening to see them being frightened of the war.♥
