I think there's a very unpleasant dystopic vibe about this scenario, when an individual is locked out from society with the flip of a switch (regardless of the reasons behind any sanctions of this type).<p>The only thing I can think about is, what will happen when tools like this are inevitably used for other reasons?<p>(...and there comes the downvote. This is not about the war, it's about a real-world example of Orwell's "unperson" phenomenon, and its implications)
