I worry when I look at the low resolution hardware and dodgy programming in my rav4. I tend to keep cars without difficulty 6-8 years or more. People can exceed 10 in low salt environments, yet keeping consumer grade technology working and useful past, say, 4 is a problem. Are we all going to be driving about with entertainment and other systems down for years? And why can’t they just assume that one’s phone is the gui and have a strong interface? This would offload the stability of the glass unto the owner.
