OK, I've read Snow Crash and work in I.T. and as best I can tell the metaverse is still this broadly conceptual thing that may or may not happen in the probably distant future. Right?<p>There's not any one place where a critical mass of people 'plug in' to play / work / socialize, right? Of all things, Minecraft is probably the closest thing to a definitional metaverse I'm aware of.<p>Every metaverse article is just $somethingsomethingNFTsand$Crypto. I guess they're selling ads, so that's cool, but what are we even talking about at this point?
