Hi all,
I'm interested in anything (computer) science / mathematics related, however, I'm a Software Engineer and would not consider myself a scientist or mathematician.
I currently have subscriptions for "Nature" and "Communications of the ACM" but I won't renew my subscriptions for neither of them. Most of the articles in Nature are too specialized for me, only the first part of the magazine is readable, where the gist of the content is presented. CACM on the other side seems a bit too high-level and I have the impression it's mainly about A.I. and inclusiveness these days (nothing against these topics, just don't want to read about it all the time).
Any recommendations?
I don't know which ones you would find interesting, but the magazines I buy frequently on the newsstand (but don't subscribe to) include:
Nuts & Volts
Servo
Practical Electronics
Linux Pro
Linux Format
Admin
Code
2600
MagPi
Hackspace
Retro-Gamer
Bass Angler
(Note: some of those names might not be exactly right, since magazines sometimes change names and I recognize it on the newsstand by the location and the general visual look, not the exact words of the title. For example, "Practical Electronics" was "Practical Everyday Electronics", or vice-versa, or something like that. And Linux Pro and Linux Voice merged, or something, yadda, yadda)
Magazines I actually subscribe to:
HBR
MIT Sloan Management Review
Wired
Bassmaster
