I Don’t Have a Business Plan: How Elon Musk Wings It

Don't understand the idea of wanting people to pay to be on twitter. If I mostly consume stuff on twitter and don't have a lot of followers why would I pay? if I don't have a commercial interest for my twitter account why would I pay?
