When I am searching for a domain name I usually have dictionary, thesaurus and registrar site open. I constantly switch between these to make up a nice domain name and see if its available.<p>IDEA Ramen combines dictionary, thesaurus and domain lookup in one app<p>- You can do the usual domain lookup for any domain extension
- You can get synonyms for any dictionary word by adding + sign
eg: <a href="https://idearamen.com/?q=world%2B" rel="nofollow">https://idearamen.com/?q=world%2B</a>
- Or combine words using ? to create new words (get??? or ???something or my????something??)
eg: <a href="https://idearamen.com/?q=get%3F%3F%3F%3F%3F" rel="nofollow">https://idearamen.com/?q=get%3F%3F%3F%3F%3F</a>
- By default it does a lookup for most common TLDs but you can provide fully qualified names like IncredibleSydney.com.au to do a specific TLD lookup
- At any time you can tap on the generated or your provided word to do a dictionary lookup
- You can bookmark finds and comeback to it later<p>I am working on few more algorithms to generate never seen (non existent) but memorable, short and easy to pronounce words. To be released in few weeks.<p>I will also be adding more config where you can choose your own resolver etc..<p>Please note that Lookup happens via DNS resolver over https using 1.1.1.1 (Cloudflare public DNS) so you will have false positives when DNS entry is missing or if the name is an invalid name (reserved words etc).<p>All feedback, suggestions and wishes welcome.
