A lot of big/small companies in North America/India etc are pretty open about their tech stacks and engineering practices.
I couldn't find too much about the tech stacks of the companies in China. Alibaba has a few open projects but thats it.
China has quite a lot of tech companies which have managed to handle scale, but not much is known about their tech stacka and engineering practices. Anybody knows about it, or where i can get more information
I know little about China but briefly worked with a smart Chinese developer and what they said has always stuck with me.
They left China as it was to hard to find a job. There’s 1.4 billion people with lots now highly educated. With so many highly educated people the competition is huge so the best thing they could do is leave as less competition. This is coming from someone who was smart saying the competition was huge, to much.
If it’s true or not I don’t know. There is 1.4 billion people and from what I see it seems big on tech but as westerners and huge langauage/cultural differences where pretty out the loop.
