I have to wonder how this is going to work such that it doesn't just leave an abortion clinic-shaped hole in your location history. Sure, they're turning it off for other "sensitive" locations, but unless those locations are physically right next to each other, it doesn't take a genius to figure out the place you've been is the place Google deleted from your history. They need to delete a lot more places (and more on either side of the trip than the immediate vicinity, otherwise the roads on the way there and back are just arrows pointing at where you've gone) to provide any real plausible deniability.
