Exercise is boring. And it is painful.<p>I've tried things like podcasts and TV - but it is hard to concentrate on them when exercising. Books are impossible to read even on a static bike.<p>But, even if the boredom problem were solvable - why would I do something which made me feel pain? I don't get the "runners' high" - I just feel sweaty and awful.<p>I don't want to compete in a league. I don't find competition a useful or healthy motivator.<p>If you could make pain free exercise which were entertaining, I'd certainly give it a go.
