Paul Krugman: I Was Wrong About Inflation

If I understood correctly, they set up an economic plan that would make the rich richer and the poor poorer, but diverged about the influence of inflation in the final result.<p>In both cases the rich would get richer, but inflation would cause some pressure to the plan since inflation is perceived as a bad thing.<p>Inflation arrived but the rich still got richer despite the negative perception of the general public.<p>So as far as I understood, this is a win. Am I right?

In 1998, Krugman wrote that the internets impact on the economy will be no greater than the fax machines.<p>In 2021, he completely misunderstood inflation and its impact on America. It is my belief that this is going to be a long, deep, reminder that stocks are risk assets once the fed has done the needful.<p>He is just a human like us, trying his best, but sometimes I find it hard to take people seriously if they have been this wrong.

Paul Krugman is wrong about a lot of things, actually.
