So many ways this could go socially wrong, just one example being that 200m wide is not a lot to defend if you want to create an impasse.<p>Also, unless everyone is more or less making and storing their own power, and water, locally, then the service conduits start becoming unreasonable because it's fundemental linear layout rather than star or tree distribution which allows distribution with multiple node failures (star/tree can be done in a linear fashion but at triple up, or more in parallel to get anywhere near same redundancy/resiliance).<p>I know some people working on parts of this design development, no way they can be housing people in 8 years time.
