Classes are already using iPads, smart projectors, and in some cases, dipping their toes into AR.<p>I think the most effective thing would be to ensure a "1-to-1" student/device ratio, which the pandemic has inadvertently helped happen -- at least in the US, by and large. Every kid has a computer. Schools just need to budget appropriately to replenish those devices when they hit end-of-life. A large portion of the (any) population has no computer at home.<p>Do that first, then worry about implementing programs for hard skills (Career Technical Education, electronics, robotics, programming, CAD, automotive, Maker, etc), then make sure kids have appropriate meals, and then finally, if you have any money left over, bring in the whiz-bang tech.
