Flightradar24 is really helpful where I live for determining where a wildfire is at. The fire attack bombers and OV-10s make a very helpful circle right around the fire, when you view the map. If I hear a couple twin-engine aircraft taking off, I usually take a quick break to open the app or the site.<p>Also it's kind of annoying / alarming how much traffic is not shown due to disabled transponders or other things. Especially when it's dark, and there's a helicopter passing overhead, and the FR map is totally clear in your area...(good time to turn on the scanner radio though)
