Github's Rest API [1] is actually quite complex - and has undocumented hurdles.
E.g. when there's more than 40K stars the API caps it there - unless you use the GraphQL API... [2]<p>There is a wealth of info available through the API.<p>I used it to work out preferred projects for quants and algotraders [3].
