TL;DR: I'm not sure I'd call this objective, it's written by an Manticore person. Manticore: Can parallelize queries to the same shard, has faster ingestion than ES, has faster start up, has beta support for Kibana, uses galera for replication.<p>Looks promising, I'd love to try it.
