Most users are complaining about their visibility and difficulty in promoting their business on Twitter, not about being able to limit audiences from what I can tell.<p>The announcement of this relatively weak feature seems tone deaf to me... Especially because prior to this they Launched Twitter Blue, which does a similar thing changing certain posts to subscription only controlled by accounts.<p>It's really strange that an app that has regularly show that it isn't secure is now trying to launch "secure" features.. Not exactly trust worthy at this point.<p>If I were leading at Twitter, I'd prioritize individual account and content discovery/visibility over these underwhelming post-limiting features, and also fix issues with trend spam, but Twitter hasn't really addressed those things firmly at all for years.
