I really wish there was more use of Jitsi and other alternatives that would allow you to host on other servers etc. Not because I dislike Zoom but just because (1) competition is good, and (2) there&#x27;s always situations like this either globally or locally that arise and it would be nice to have more options.

Website doesn&#x27;t really matter. You can&#x27;t join their online meetings or even dial-in. Not a great day they are having.

While we&#x27;re here and probably need a quick alternative, does anyone know of a screen sharing service that allows you to share a portion of the screen and not just a tab&#x2F;app? I&#x27;m on an ultrawide monitor and it&#x27;s a real pain screensharing.<p>I&#x27;ve tried tuple, tandem, google meets.. none of those allow it.

Zoom is returning a 502 Bad Gateway error, and, in some workspaces, it&#x27;s returning the following Nginx error.<p>&gt; An error occurred.<p>&gt; Sorry, the page you are looking for is currently unavailable. I love how my initial title was &quot;Zoom Is Down&quot; but it got updated to &quot;Zoom was down&quot; by moderators after the issue was solved. =)
