The Architecture of Musical Instruments

This is amazing, some of the images have an incredible sci-fi feeling to them. For me, the most impressive part of these pictures is the use of lighting. The play of lights and shadows reproduces the volumes in such a way that one feels immersed, embedded in a vast chamber that is in reality only a few centimeters wide. The picture of the internals of a didgeridoo is out of this world, fascinating...

This is one of those: who did not anyone think about this before!

Does anyone know how he managed to keep such a large distance in focus, despite being in macro range? I suppose those are several pictures stitched together somehow?

If a room was built in the shape of a violin, how would the acoustics be inside that room? Is there something special about the shape?

Wow this is a stunning look in a different way, I can only imagine all the strange beauty in old arch top guitars.<p>Also totally agree on the expertise in the lighting. Makes them vibrant and feel lively like caught in a break in the action. Would love to see if he could do time lapse too that’d be neat too. What an artist.

That violin looks like someone&#x27;s empty attic. I can almost smell it.

Very pretty, those macro images inside music instruments. Would be fun to see &#x27;internal&#x27; videos while those instruments are being used.

Now I dream of living inside a violin.

I wish I could get this guy to take a great photo inside my viola for me!
