I purchased all the courses for $1,151.85, and I cannot overstate how extremely overpriced and low quality they are. These should be priced at 10$ a piece. Also this guy is conveniently ignoring my emails about getting a refund, as he does have a 30 day satisfaction guarantee.
TLDR: NEVER PURCHASE ANY COURSES ON BAELDUNG
Looking at the website the 30 day money-back guarantee is for "any single course". For $1000 I can see only 3 or 4 course bundles. That's covered in the FAQ, on the purchase page and https://courses.baeldung.com/p/terms#refund-policy "In the case multiple or combined courses were purchased, a refund can only be processed for a single course, chronologically if applicable." If you emailed them claiming the courses are only worth 10$ like you did here it can be taken as insult, not the best strategy when asking for money back.
Talked with Eugen, I thought I wasn't going to get a refund because he didn't respond as fast as I thought he would, while it is true I am not satisfied with the course material, I do not believe it constitutes being a "scam". I consumed one out of the 4 courses purchased in this package, and will have to pay for that course, which I find fair, though I will be refunded for the rest. This whole post was a very knee-jerked reaction, and a tad unprofessional as well.
Hope this comment finds folks well,
Victor
I find that O'Reilly Online (use to be called Safari Books Online) is a great value. It’s a subscription instead of one time. But gives you access to their comprehensive technical library.
