We usually buy bird seed for our feeders. I have not seen a single bird in about 2 months. This is rather odd. I live in Western Pennsylvania near CMU.
Not sure how deadly it was, but there was widespread avian flu earlier this year. I stopped putting bird seed in our feeder for months because of it, since feeders is a good way to spread it.<p>But I recently started putting seed out again and the birds are coming back, so maybe it's just where you live.
