Wfh will end when companies feel they can get and retain the staff they want or like to have. If they have recruitment or retention problems, some will adapt and the rest won’t. It’s more on the workers to drive this as developers tend to be introverted and certainly profit from peace and quiet.<p>If the country or regional differences increase, companies will have problems as 2/3 of peoples times are spent outside work. If offices don’t give up on the dense, no privacy offices they’ll keep getting pushback from (potential) staff.
