Largest EU economy can reach 100% ‘clean energy’ by 2035

Germany has tried to move away ftom nuclear and fossil fuels at the same time. Germany currently has the highest energy prices in the world.<p>Whatever you think about green energy in the past, one thing has to be certain. It did not work. What is different this time?<p>Yes, I would prefer if Germany had less coal power plants, this is not the point. I see no evidence that &quot;green&quot; energy can satisfy the energy demands of an industrial nation. The atteps of the last decade was a disaster.

&gt;&gt; the system generates huge surpluses of electricity at zero marginal costs for most times of the year, which instead of being curtailed can be harnessed for vast new applications which will transform and enlarge electricity grids (what we call ‘super power’).<p>Tldr build such a big system that even on cloudy days (or analogs for other approaches) we have enough power for basic demand. To avoid need for batteries just come up with some new applications for the excess power on other days.
