Bit of an aside, but how long are we going to keep doing this calling out the parent-child company dynamic in every single headline for Alphabet and Meta?<p>It makes sense for the first few weeks or months after a rebrand, merger or acquisition to remind readers that X owns Y now or A used to be called B. But at some point surely we just start calling corporations by their name, right? Does anyone reading tech or financial news not know who Meta or Alphabet is at this point?
