There's a lot of detail going into the explanation here, which I feel is aiming at perfectionists, who will already be doing something along similar lines, so it serves as affirmation.<p>In order to aim at general developers who would normally be guilty of commits like "PR comments" and "fix", you want a very concise soundbite that's easy to remember.<p>I normally say this in my head "If applied, this commit will:" and then write the commit message. Not perfect, but doesn't have to be.
