This is awesome to read about.
I grew up in a Hmong enclave (not so far from SV actually; Fresno), and in High School they made up something like 30% of my class. I had quite a few friends in the community.
Interestingly, I met cousins of those friends in random places around the world during my military career, and was always welcomed as family by those people. This sometimes bewildered the other service members who saw them as a very closed group; they are very misunderstood (in my experience).
Seeing a (more) traditional Hmong wedding is pretty awesome, too. Honestly I wish I had more resources to offer, but I’m not anything like an expert.

I just want to thank the mods (Daniel was the one mentioned in the email) for the invitation to repost this. I've no idea why some algorithm found a story I submitted from 2019 interesting, but I really like the idea of this and hope it continues to find old interesting submissions (personally I'm a sucker for all things transit). Thanks again!

Awesome read, cool idea.
From software engineering perspective, this is a great example of a product being put to use that was not anticipated by the dev.
Thank you for the link!

This is awesome. An innovative form of social media before internet use was widespread.
