With Elon taking over Twitter and the mess happening there the migration to the Metaverse is on and Mastodon instances of ActivityPub will be the most popular options for the moment but those instances have serious performance issues when you get massive signup... whether this is because of Ruby on Rails or something else I don't know. I just hope Pleroma and the other Fediverse instances get some love too!
