I am getting this error:
A e2-highcpu-2 VM instance is currently unavailable in the us-east4-c zone. Alternatively, you can try your request again with a different VM hardware configuration or at a later time. For more information, see the troubleshooting documentation.
You don't really get support from google on the cheaper machines. Is all of GCP being used for black friday stuff?
Some of my us-east4 App Engine instances (in multiple projects, some in production) went down in the past week. I haven't been able to restart any of them. One of our clients just happened to not be working today or yesterday. Now I have to move to a different region or they won't be going back to work tomorrow.
I've been unable to launch a fairly beefy machine (e2-custom-8-18432) in us-east4-c since yesterday evening.
I launch this machine via a schedule every day at 5pm.
Recently moved it from us-east4-a, as i had been seeing the errors there.
I've been using gcloud for a long time and until this month I've never had this error come up?
I'm even willing to reserve an instance, but will this help?
Hmm, I was able to launch a c2-standard-8 without any problems. The e2 instances still don't work. Maybe google is pushing us towards the more expensive SKUs!
Happy Thanksgiving!
