I was wondering how are other companies dealing with employees giving talks during conferences. Are all of their expenses paid by the company? Are they additionally compensated? If yes - how, what are the rules. And most importantly - why?
Give the guy/gal $10,000 for the night. Their job, and as naturally it is to them, is to make "connections".
