Ask HN: Educational YouTube channels run by individual content creators?

6 点作者 curious16超过 2 年前
I am looking for educational youtube channels which are run and managed by single creators. The format of the videos maybe anything ranging from MinutePhysics style pen and paper explanations with overhead camera or sophisticated animation vidoes like that of CGP Grey.
If you know even small channels that are run by singular creators that can be valued for the quality of their content please mention them.
Some exceptions may be made for teams of 2 to 3 people. I just don't want anything run by a giant company that has infinite resources to spend.
Any topic would suffice.

I think you might want to narrow that down to a topic?
Here's a refreshing woodworking channel: https://www.youtube.com/@lincolnst.woodworks
There are other woodworkers and DIYers that have some really superb editing and video composing skills. The above and another woodworker held a livestream where they talked about their channels and what works/doesn't for thumbnails, titles, etc. and it was kind of enlightening to how much effort goes into making 12 minute videos (hours upon hours upon hours).
I think a software/programming channel (I don't watch any TBH) might suffer from the same problem a woodworking channel might: the basic activity is terribly boring to watch.

Would any programmers uploading videos fall under this umbrella?
