That's a lot of words that doesn't answer why there wasn't a Quest 3 this year, or why the Quest Pro specs (aside from the new eye/face tracking features) haven't improved substantially over the Quest 2. It's hard to imagine that developing these new technologies was more important than building on the momentum of the Quest 2 and letting it fade for a year and having to build it up again.<p>This is conspicuously unanswered considering John Carmack's belief that the Quest 2 was as close to ideal in form and price to push adoption forward.
