There&#x27;s already related human evidence where FMT between elite athletes to those chronically ill show remarkable improvement in strength and endurance.<p>Important to realize that things like probiotics cannot do this alone, they are not robust enough in diversity and don&#x27;t colonize.<p>Microbiome is really the &quot;next frontier&quot; in medical science.

I’d like to see more microbiome studies related to stress, or how to just get your gut in gear (no gas, etc). Most of the things I find, though, are fluff pieces or anecdotal “evidence” of how taking supplement X had some kind of effect that might as well have been a placebo.

I started taking L. rhamnosus, just on a whim. The only noticeable effect was that it was easier to get up off the couch, in a literal way. No idea how that works.

I wish we could ban any story with “in mice” in the headline.<p>Ever disease known to man has been cured 100x over in mice.
