What is something you realize that is non obvious as you grew older? For it is understand that being good at your job is only one part of the equation at work.
It is obvious to me that computers are insecure, and the reasons for that are foundational. It has proven exceptionally hard to convey this fact to others understand in anything other than a close personal discussion.<p>What's missing?, Capabilities based security.[1] People see the term, and instantly <i>think</i> they know what I mean, but don't really.<p>---<p>Somehow I managed to pick up the idea of systems wide thinking, that keeps the big picture in mind. I see how suburban sprawl is completely unsustainable, because of infrastructure that is nowhere near dense enough to be affordable, for example.
