Good question. For my birthday, my SO took me to a fancy sushi place. It was my first time experiencing such a high quality food. I believe sushi is one of those foods where you can actually tell the difference based on the quality of ingredients used. Money well spent.
Bun bo hue literally on the side of a road in the Hue region in Vietnam. Haven't found anything in America like what you find in SE Asia where there's no menu, just one item and one price and that's all they serve 18 hrs a day nonstop.
Either the Steak ladled in Butter + Thyme/Garlic, and Mashed Potatoes al Gratin that we had for Christmas dinner<p>or the small bowl of Greek Yogurt and Warm Honey I just had 15 minutes ago
It's not this year meal but the best meal ever was steak I had in 'Buenos Aires' restaurant in London. I don't live in London anymore but I dream to visit that restaurant once more :)
