My understanding is that the vast majority of cells and panels are fab’d in China. With the plummeting price of solar, it seems like we should be seeing a small boom in mono and polycrystalline solar cell fabs and panel integrators in the US. Does anyone have their ear to the ground in this area? Is it too capital intensive to set up a fab for cells / panels in the US?
