10 minutes in and the video is yet to explain how a large population doesn't burden the environment more than a small one. Instead, all that time was spent explaining how racist it is to worry about overpopulation.
I did not watch any further. Unless the author believes the Earth's ecosystems are doing just fine and climate change isn't a problem, then I assume he'd welcome any solution that reduced the human per-capita environmental impact by 50%, and would warn against any lifestyle change that increased it by 50%.
But we're supposed to ignore environmental impact that comes from population growth?

"Imperial core", at least he acknowledges the reality of neo-colonialism. I disagree with the answer being socialist propaganda like a worker movement or protesting.
Fossil fuels are one part of the problem only.
Why do you think corporations and governments are focusing on enabling electric cars instead of trains and trams?
Having national referendums with 60% vote requirement for approval (ranked choice) on proposed solutions is my suggestion.
