I admit that I skimmed the article because I already have a good solution for this (mermaid rendered in gitlab/github markdown files), but by the looks of it, this just looks like a limited (lacking inheritance and the like) entity relationship diagram custom generator using D2's api.<p>Fun little experiment, but if you want to get serious about documentation, I'll just suggest mermaid instead of rolling your own custom text-to-diagram tool.<p>But if instead you want to have some fun generating diagrams, this looks like a good starting point.
